The most annoying word in this episode: “Johnny.” If they established that Liz was his older sister and they did a bunch of older/younger sibling jabs, fine, but what a diminutive to sling around. Going from Captain Sheridan to Johnny sounds less like a WW2 soldier from the movies and more like a little kid from a 50s TV show. The frequent punctuation just made it hurt more. Johnny.
Hmm. It did stick out. 2259 is the late fifties, perhaps there’s a 20th C. revival on?
